Princess Alishaba
( WH Abu Shaba x Princess Sahari )
1996 Grey Mare
Straight Egyptian
Kuhaylan Rodan in strain
Princess Alishaba, better known as Shaba for short. Was our first Straight Egyptian mare. I purchased her after doing almost a year of research on straight egyptian arabians. Originally it was her beauty and pedigree that led me to purchase her. Now however she is a much loved member of my family! A great individual in her own right, a sound and stable mare, as well as a wonderful mother! When I need a horse that sets a good example I can count on Shaba's steady and friendly disposition!
As a breeding animal she has a pedigree desired by many. Her mother Princess Sahari, was a daughter of the great broodmare stallion The Egyptian Prince. Shabas' grandsire was none other than the legendary Ruminaja Ali! Ruminaja Ali was a stallion of amazing type and quality. He built a dynasty of his own amongst the arabian horse community. With numerous wins himself, as well as his get and grand get achieving fame throughout the world. There is no doubt as to the quality of Ruminaja Ali and his descendants. We are greatly pleased to have one of his grandaughters in our pasture. Moving on to Shabas sire WH Abu Shaba. He was shown only three times. Each time he was taken to the yearly Egyptian Event. A prestigeous show held at the Kentucky Horse Park. Of the times he was shown WH Abu Shaba never placed below Top Ten! We expect great things from this wonderful mare!
UPDATE
